Whether you are just beginning
your study of the Alexander Technique, have been studying
for years, or are an Alexander Technique teacher with decades
of experience, we have a place for you. Our customized programs
ensure instruction tailored to your level and, at the same
time, offer immersion in a spectrum of experience with your
fellow students

The Intermediate Program
A deeper course of study
We all encounter challenges in our learning process. By
stepping back and approaching our work afresh—with a
“beginner's mind”—we can often break through
to greater levels of mastery. This program facilitates accelerated
learning of the Alexander Technique and is designed for people
who have studied the Technique for a period of time. Our goal
is to foster confidence in your ability to embody Alexander's
principles through a deeper understanding of the work.

The Teachers' Circle
A course for teachers
The Teachers’ Circle is a supportive setting
for seasoned teachers who wish to extend their expertise
and grow in new directions. Using our collective wisdom,
we will explore the art and skill of teaching group
classes, the application of Body Mapping to advance
the understanding of the Technique and the use of breathing
coordination in speaking and singing. The participants’
interests and desires will determine the content of
the Teachers’ Circle. Our vision is to foster
an environment in which teachers, directors, and officers
of professional organizations renew themselves together
year after year. |
